ERGONOMIC ADVOCATE TRAINING

Designed as a three-session series, the ergonomic advocate training course provides a hands-on approach to teach the employee how to perform a proactive ergonomic assessment. Learning how to implement the correct administrative engineering controls, the advocate training course will enable your employee to become an integrated part of your company's existing safety and wellness culture.

  • Understanding ergonomic risk factors and their associated postures
  • Signs and symptoms of ergonomic risk factor exposure and how they manifest as commonly observed musculoskeletal disorders such as carpal tunnel and lateral epicondylitis, etc.
  • Choosing the correct engineering, administrative, or personal protective equipment control to mitigate risk factors
  • Review of commonly used ergonomic products and how the employee may determine if they are a good fit for their stature and applications
  • Anatomy, Neuroanatomy and Physiology of the human body - labeling the human skeleton
  • Understanding anthropometric measurements and their application with the human body and the work station
  • How to perform a proactive ergonomic evaluation with quantitative and qualitative documentation
  • On-going mentorship may be provided at your request
