Jordan Nakanishi-Rodriguez

Jordan Nakanishi-Rodriguez, recipient of the $5,000 Jeanne Iverson Scholarship from VSI Risk Management & Ergonomics, Inc., is a graduate student in the Human Factors and Ergonomics program at San José State University. With a background in kinesiology and experience in personal training, physical therapy, and ergonomic consulting, he focuses on optimizing workspaces and promoting safe, efficient interactions between people and their environments.

Tanay Arora

Tanay Arora, recipient of the $5,000 Jeanne Iverson Scholarship from VSI Risk Management & Ergonomics, Inc., is a graduate student in Human Factors and Ergonomics at San Jose State University with a background in user experience design. His work focuses on human performance in high-risk environments, including research on firefighter respirators and collaborations with industry partners such as Honda Research Institute. He is particularly interested in advancing safety through system design in healthcare and fitness.
