Ergonomic Advocate Training
A three-session course offering a practical approach to teaching employees to perform proactive ergonomic assessments. Students learn to implement proper administrative engineering controls while becoming an essential part of your company’s wellness and safety culture. Mentorship is available on request. Topics include:
- Ergonomic risk factors and associated postures
- Signs and symptoms of risk factor exposure and how they develop as musculoskeletal disorders, such as carpal tunnel and lateral epicondylitis
- Choosing the proper engineering, administrative, and personal protective equipment to reduce risks
- Commonly used ergonomic products and how to determine if they are a good fit for the employee’s use
- Human anatomy, neuroanatomy, and physiology
